Narmada Udgam Mandir, Amarkantak

This is the Narmada Udgam Mandir at Amarkantak. It is the source of river Narmada. A holy place for Hindu, and a calm and quiet place for tourists from all over the world. It is particularly good in the tourist circuit of Jabalpur, Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Amarkantak, Achanakmar.

Achanakmar is a great place to spot wildlife, mainly wild buffalow, a secluded place, not at all touristy and there are accommodations available near the forest.

Kushinagar

The lying Budha at Kushinagar is a special place for Budhists. The place is near Gorakhpur. This photo was taken by my mobile cam during my visit to Kushinagar last year.
