The Three Monkeys

In the Toshogu Shrine of Nikko, Japan there are some sculptures of THREE MONKEYS reflecting different aspects of our life. From Childhood to Death it depicts a nice pictures through the story of three monkeys. The story of Three Monkeys is very popular attraction in the whole Nikko.

The monkey

Taken in a forest road, this one is a Hanuman Langur. Hanuman Langur, the most common Indian Langur is one of the Old World monkeys, belonging to the Semnopithecus Genus. Hanuman langur is also known by the name of Gray Langur, Entellus Langur and Common Indian Langur.
In the Indian forest, langurs form the most powerful ‘vigilance system’ against tigers.
